The captain

My name is Paolo and I’m the captain of Blue Magic. La Spezia is my hometown: the scent, the sound and the energy of the sea are something strong that belong to me since I was born.

I used to sail with my father and my brothers since I was child and together with them we’re sharing this passion since then. Also the passion of the boats!

In addition to my long experience, I have obtained several licenses:

• Nautical license without  limits from the coast
• License whf
• Yachtmaster Rya  for boatmaster of ship commercial/superyachts until to  200 t.
• Commercial Endorsement Certificate
• Professional courses  STCW, personal survival techniques,fire prevention and fire fighting,first aid, personal safety and social responsibilities
• Short rang certificate
• PPR
• Haccp Certificate for food administration

So, here I am, with a dream that came through….have my own boat and sharing with my loved one this passion, specially my wife and my daughter.

After won a few regattas in Liguria, I would like now to share my same passion and my knowledge with anyone who’d like to sail, showing the wonderful places where I live.
